I specialize in teaching intermediate and advanced-level flutists in creative and engaging ways!

It’s my mission to help passionate flutists achieve peak performance with a healthy mindset and invaluable practice skills.

With over 10 years of teaching experience and a Doctorate degree in Music Performance, I provide flutists with expert guidance and instruction. My students have been accepted into university flute programs, honor bands, youth orchestras, and have placed in a variety of flute competitions. If you have flute goals, I’m here to help you reach them!

I couldn’t always play like I can now. I wasn’t born with the music gene (there’s no such thing), my journey has twists and turns, and I’ve learned a lot along the way.

In the past I’ve been clueless about double-tonguing, phrasing, and vibrato. I couldn’t play with any dynamics in middle school, and in high school, my intonation was terrible in the upper register. But I loved playing the flute and found a fantastic teacher to help me! Addressing my weaknesses made me strong, and overcoming them made me a more capable musician. I want to help you do the same so you can become a self-sufficient, independent musician, too!
